Cost per click is what each visit from an ad costs you. Enter your spend and clicks to see it, alongside the CPM and CTR behind it.

Enter any two related numbers and the matching metric fills in: spend and impressions give CPM, clicks and impressions give CTR, spend and clicks give CPC.
$2,500 across 2,340 clicks is about $1.07 per click. If a platform bills you per click (a true CPC campaign), this is also the price you're paying; if it bills per impression, it's the effective CPC you ended up with.
CPC only becomes meaningful next to what a click is worth. Whether $1.07 is cheap depends on what fraction of clicks buy and how much profit a sale leaves. A click is worth its conversion rate times the profit per order.
If 2% of clicks buy and each order leaves $40 after product cost, fees and shipping, then a click is worth $0.80. Pay more than that on average and each order loses money before overheads.
| Conversion rate | Profit per order | Break-even CPC |
|---|---|---|
| 1% | $40 | $0.40 |
| 2% | $40 | $0.80 |
| 3% | $40 | $1.20 |
| 2% | $60 | $1.20 |
